Coca-Cola India bottles FIFA match-day energy with Rohan, Sakshi, Kaashvi and Kannav

Coca-Cola India has rolled out a campaign, 'Coke Match Day Hangout', to showcase a watch party for the ongoing FIFA World Cup. It also highlights how viewers and fans can be a part of the watch party by ordering a Coke on Zepto or Blinkit.
The campaign comprises an ad film featuring content creator Sakshi Shivdasani, comedian Rohan Joshi, streaming and gaming content creator Kaashvi Hiranandani and football digital creator Kannav Bhardwaj.
The film opens with Joshi, Hiranandani and Shivdasani settling in to watch what promises to be a thrilling match. As a commentator provides a live-style voiceover, the focus shifts when the trio becomes completely engrossed in the game, sparking animated discussions and reactions of their own. Set against the backdrop of a live commentary studio, the narration follows how their watch party gradually captures attention and draws more viewers into the conversation. The film concludes with Bhardwaj joining the group, as the commentator invites audiences to be part of the excitement by ordering a Coke through two quick commerce platforms and joining the watch party experience.
What we think about it: The film captures the banter and reactions that make football fandom so engaging, lending authenticity to the creator-led watch party. However, the rushed narration leaves little room for the creators' personalities to shine, and the presence of a gaming streamer and football creator in the mix felt underutilised in what could have been a more inventive story.
The film was released on Instagram on 15 June.
