Warner Bros. teams up with JOAT Films and Bhanushali Studios for an international venture

The studios collaborate to develop Indian adaptations of Warner Bros. Pictures titles.

Warner Bros. Pictures has announced a new collaboration with JOAT Films and India’s Bhanushali Studios, marking a significant step in its strategy to broaden its footprint in key international markets.

Bringing his decades of industry knowledge to the project is Jack Nguyen of JOAT Films, who joins as co-producer under his ongoing first-look deal with Warner Bros. Pictures. 

A seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience, Nguyen has long specialised in Asian productions. He founded JOAT Films to focus on developing and producing stories with strong cinematic appeal, particularly from the region.

The alliance signals Warner Bros. Pictures’ continued interest in culturally rooted storytelling, aiming to blend global standards with local narratives in a bid to deliver compelling content to audiences worldwide.
