Sambit Mohanty, creative head - North and South, McCann Worldgroup India, has got an expanded role through which he will head the agency's Bengaluru office as executive vice president.

Mohanty takes over from Vishal Ahluwalia, executive vice president and head, McCann South, who will be moving on at the end of next month.

With this Mohanty, will be both the business and creative head of McCann's Bengaluru office. 

Mohanty will be reporting to Prasoon Joshi, chairperson - APAC, McCann Worldgroup, CEO and CCO, McCann India.

Mohanty had joined McCann in January 2020 for his third stint with the agency. He has also worked with JWT, DDB Mudra, Lowe Lintas and Publicis among others.
