Your 5PM to 9PM routine after your 9 to 5?
I am usually wrapping up last-minute reviews and planning for the next day with my team. Regulation stuff, but it keeps us efficient and ensures we are all on track for the week. My wife and I love our food, so it's usually dinner at some new place in the city followed by a long walk. If not, it's dinner at home where we catch up on each other's lives. This time is non-negotiable for us. A mix of a lot of things - watching the latest episode of a new show, putting down some musical ideas, reading, or just eating vegan, sugar-free ice-cream and pretending like I'm making a healthy choice!
A book or show you recently read/ watched that you would recommend?
Show: I loved 'Get Millie Black'.
Book: Watership Down by Richard Adams.
What wins would you like to celebrate from the last six months or a year, at work or in life?
Very proud of our work at Virtue India in reimagining Johnnie Walker as a new-age luxury icon. I'm excited to finish the final draft of 'Diamonds & Detergent' and my new single as Citizen Koi (my musical alter-ego) is due for release this year. It's been written and composed by me, and, if the stars align, I'll have a music video to go with it.
Which industry leader has impacted you the most?
Without a doubt, Raj Kamble. I learnt the importance of passion, hard work, perseverance and raw ambition from Raj. I met him (and worked at Famous) during a very formative time in my career.
The biggest development in the A&M industry this month...
Neurodivergence and depression are being spoken about openly with brands representing the special needs of these audiences.
A recent ad film from the previous month that caught your attention?
I loved the 'Truly Irresistible' ad for Vinsmera Jewels. Mohanlal, Prakash Varma - when the powers combine!
