Mandeep Sharma has stepped down from his position as chief operating officer at Cheil India, according to multiple sources.

Sharma had joined the Samsung-owned advertising firm in April 2024 as the national head for its Samsung Business, before being elevated to COO. Details about his next move are not known.

Cheil India declined to provide a statement when contacted. 

Sharma's departure is the latest in a wave of senior exits from Cheil India. This year alone, the agency has seen the exit of chief growth officer Neeraj Bassi and former COO Sanjeev Jasani.

Prior to joining Cheil, Sharma was with McCann Worldgroup, where he was executive vice president.

In a career spanning over 31 years, he has also worked with Thompson Connect, Ogilvy One and Spark44, among others.
