Meta has rolled out a campaign to spotlight its Starfire Kylie Edition by media personality, socialite, and businesswoman Kylie Jenner.
The campaign comprises three films showcasing the hands-free capabilities of the Meta Glasses through everyday moments in Jenner's life.
In the first film, Jenner is running late for an event when she receives a notification on her Meta Glasses that her mother is calling. She answers the call hands-free and continues her conversation while searching her closet for an outfit.
The second film follows Jenner as she uses the glasses to capture a photo of her Meta Glasses billboard, translate a letter she has received into English and play music, increasing the volume simply by saying, "Hey Meta."
The third film reveals the contents of the translated letter and a portrait that was painted for her, highlighting how the glasses help her interact with and understand the world around her.
What we think about it: The films effectively demonstrate the practical, hands-free features of Meta Glasses by integrating them into familiar, everyday scenarios rather than relying on futuristic storytelling. We particularly like that the films are short, contemporary and straight to the point, even if Kylie Jenner's star power and the emphasis on product features make them feel more like slick demonstrations than emotionally driven narratives.
The campaign was released on Instagram.
