After announcing its entry into India with an office in New Delhi, and subscription plans at INR 399, OpenAI, has started advertising in the country.
For now, OpenAI has taken to digital outdoor to promote the uses of ChatGPT for daily users. The Manifest team has seen advertising across prominent sites in Mumbai including malls.
X user, Ashutosh Mangal, posted one such hoarding which shows a user looking for meal plans and grocery lists.
OpenAI has also begun hiring in India, with at least three roles available to apply on the company's careers section.
The AI major had announced the appointment of Sheeladitya Mohanty as its India marketing lead. Mohanty moves from Meta, where he served as marketing lead for Meta AI and Facebook across the Asia-Pacific region, after a stint of nine years.
