Ather Energy has announced the appointment of Anjani Kumar as chief digital and information officer.
He will be responsible for leading Ather’s digital strategy, oversee the development of digital platforms and products, strengthen IT infrastructure including cybersecurity, and enhance the company’s data-driven capabilities.
Furthermore, he will also oversee teams across WebTech, IT and security, MES, business intelligence, and digital engineering.
Kumar moves from Tata AIG General Insurance, where he was chief technology officer and executive vice president.

In a career spanning over 24 years, he has also worked with IBM, Nissan Motor Corporation, Cognizant Technology Solutions and Strides, among others.
