Ipsos has announced the appointment of Lifeng Liu as chairperson and CEO, Asia Pacific and China (APAC), effective 2 November 2026. In this expanded role, Liu will lead the newly formed APAC region, which brings together Asia Pacific and Greater China under a single leadership structure, alongside his current position as chairperson and CEO of Ipsos in Greater China.

Liu will leverage his extensive leadership experience to drive growth and deeper integration across the region, according to the company.

Prior to his current role, Liu held several senior leadership positions within the company, including CEO of Asia Pacific from 2011 to 2016 and CEO of Greater China from 2007 to 2010.

This appointment is part of Ipsos' ongoing efforts to simplify its organisation and strengthen the execution of its Horizons strategy.

Kelly Beaver, chief executive officer, Ipsos, commented: "I am delighted to announce Lifeng's expanded role. Lifeng has consistently applied his proven leadership to drive significant progress for our business. These changes reflect our commitment to building a stronger, more connected Ipsos that is better positioned to execute our Horizons strategy, accelerate growth, and serve our clients consistently."

Liu added: "I am honoured to lead the newly unified APAC region at such an exciting time for Ipsos. Bringing Asia Pacific and Greater China together presents a tremendous opportunity to build an even stronger organisation. Over the coming weeks, I look forward to spending time with leaders across the region to deepen our understanding of market priorities and client needs, and to work together to deliver exceptional value."
