Rosada, a premium kids' lifestyle brand, has secured an undisclosed investment from actor and entrepreneur Shilpa Shetty Kundra.

The deal marks the company's first external funding round and comes as it looks to expand its footprint in India's growing children's lifestyle market.

Founded by Shalu and Bhupesh Agarwal, Rosada operates in categories including bags, bedding, travel accessories, décor and everyday utility products for babies and young children. The company follows an in-house design and manufacturing model, allowing it to oversee product development and production.

The investment follows a period of growth for the bootstrapped company.

Rosada gained wider visibility after appearing on Shark Tank India Season 5, where it secured funding commitments from three investors. According to the company, its revenue nearly doubled following the appearance.

The fresh capital will be used to support geographic expansion, broaden the product portfolio and strengthen teams across design, marketing and operations.

The founders described the investment as the beginning of the brand's next phase of growth, as it looks to build on its existing customer base and expand its presence across the premium children's lifestyle segment.

The development also reflects growing investor interest in India's premium children's products market, as brands catering to young families increasingly expand beyond apparel into lifestyle, travel and home categories.

Shalu Agarwal said, "Rosada has been built with a very clear point of view: design-led, quality-first, and deeply relevant to how modern Indian parents think about their children's world. Having Shilpa Shetty Kundra come on board is a defining moment and strengthens our confidence to move forward with a much larger vision. This is India's moment for a homegrown kids' lifestyle brand to go big, and Rosada intends to be exactly that."

Kundra added, "What drew me to Rosada was straightforward: the product spoke for itself. The design sensibility, the quality of materials, the attention to detail, it is the kind of brand you instantly recognise as different. As someone who has experienced it as a parent first, I am backing this with full conviction. Rosada has everything it takes to become the definitive kids' lifestyle brand in India."
