Flipkart has announced the appointment of Gunjan Bhartia as senior vice president, business finance. In this role, he will lead eKart business finance across all verticals, strengthening financial planning, performance rigour, and strategic transformation as the company aims to build a future-ready supply chain for India.

Bhartia has previously served a 22-year stint at GE, where his last held position was that of CFO, GE South Asia and business-development leader for gas power, MENASA region.

In a career spanning over 28 years, he has also held senior leadership roles at companies such as Coupang, IndoTech Transformers and Engineer.ai across Asia and the Middle East, among others.
