Suzuki Motorcycle India (SMIPL), the two-wheeler subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, has announced a collaboration with Naruto Shippuden, the Japanese anime and manga character, for its scooter, the Suzuki Avenis.
To mark the beginning of this collaboration, SMIPL showcased the association at the ‘Mela! Mela! Anime Japan!!’ festival, held on 13–14 September 2025 in New Delhi. The two-day event which celebrated Japanese culture by bringing together anime, food, products and experiences, served as the launchpad to engage directly with anime fans and young two-wheeler enthusiasts.
With anime gaining popularity among India’s youth as a symbol of creativity and self-expression, SMIPL, recognising this connection, aims to bring the anime character closer to its young customers through the Avenis, according to the auto maker. Naruto’s never-give-up spirit and boundless energy make the collaboration a natural fit with the Suzuki Avenis, known for its sporty design, agility, and youthful appeal, stated the brand.
Deepak Mutreja, vice-president, sales and marketing, Suzuki Motorcycle India , said, “The Avenis is a scooter designed for young riders who seek style and performance in everything they choose. This collaboration adds an extra layer of excitement, making the scooter experience more engaging and relatable. It also introduces a special Avenis X Naruto Shippuden theme, featured across activations and merchandise, giving fans an opportunity to experience their favourite anime universe in a completely new way.”
