Vikram Karwal has been appointed as chief marketing officer, Marico. 

He took to LinkedIn to announce the move.

Karwal moves from Mondelez International after a stint of 13 years, where he was most recently serving as the senior director marketing - chocolates (tablets business), India. He joined the organisation in 2012 as senior manager. 

In the past, he has worked with Kraftfoods International and ConAgra Foods.
