Dream11 is the most visible startup in India based on 'media visibility' according to a study by Wizikey, an AI media intelligence platform.

Zepto and Oyo completed the top three.

The report evaluates how startups break through the news cycle across mainstream and digital publications. The 2025 edition analyses more than 300 million media data points across over 1,700 brands, drawing from news published on more than 4,00,000 online publications between 1 January and 30 November 2025.

Dream11 leads the ranking with a NewsScore of 77.03, built on approximately 32,500 news items and over 21,000 headlines. It generated an estimated reach of 19.88 billion over the year. Zepto was second with a NewsScore of 73.71, supported by close to 21,600 news items and over 4,400 headlines.

Aakriti Bhargava, co-founder, Wizikey, said, “The Newsmakers 2025 list reinforces a simple truth: in a noisy market, the brands that win are those that treat communications as a system, not an afterthought. Dream11, Zepto and OYO are very different businesses, but they share the same pattern – consistent storytelling, clear context and the ability to show up in the news cycle with intent.”

She added, “We have moved beyond the days when startups waited for visibility to happen to them. The most resilient founders now treat visibility as a muscle they build over time, across product launches, partnerships, funding milestones and culture stories. The Wizikey NewsScore quantifies this visibility muscle, moving beyond vanity metrics to show how well a brand sustains its narrative across the media spectrum.”
