Samsonite has announced the elevation of Anushree Tainwala as chief business officer and executive director, Samsonite South Asia and Middle East. With this, Tainwala, who was handling the South Asia mandate, has also been given the remit of the Middle East. 

The executive move consolidates leadership across South Asia and 28 Middle Eastern markets into a single growth vision led by Tainwala.

This brings the the consumer and commercial ecosystem under a unified vision, integrating key operational verticals - including overall brand strategy, product portfolio management, marketing and communications, e-commerce, physical retail, in-store consumer experience, and organisational digital transformation that have historically functioned as independent departments.
