Puma India has announced the appointment of Ramprasad Sridharan as managing director.

Sridharan moves from United Colors of Benetton India, where he was CEO and MD.

Sridharan succeeds Karthik Balagopalan, who left the company towards the end of October.

He will report directly to Puma's chief commercial officer, Matthias Bäumer.

In a career spanning over 26 years, he has also worked with Clarks and Reebok India, among others.
