Actor Aahana Kumra has announced the launch of her production house, Working Panda Films. The venture is co-founded with casting director-actor, Apurva Singh Rathore.

The duo aim to produce content that pushes creative boundaries and spotlights unconventional narratives across cinema, music, and sports. Working Panda Films positions itself as a home for fearless storytelling rooted in contemporary themes and cultural relevance.

Making the announcement, Kumra shared, “A new chapter begins… Apoorva and I found ourselves aligned not just in spirit, but in vision — a shared belief that cinema today needs to be brave, bold, and boundary-breaking.”

Kumra, known for her roles in Lipstick Under My Burkha, Rangbaaz, and Call My Agent: Bollywood, added that this move marks a significant personal and professional milestone. “In today’s creative landscape, I believe we can no longer be just actors. We must be creators. And creating from the ground up is exactly what we’ve set out to do.”

The production house has already begun working on projects such as producing the T20 Mumbai League, and more recently, crafting music videos with Saregama.
