EssenceMediacom (part of WPP Media) has retained the Uber media business following a multi-agency pitch.
The agency had first won the account in 2017, with the agency helping launch Uber across several markets in the region.
EssenceMediacom operates a connected regional model spanning Australia and New Zealand, Hong Kong, India, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan.
Maddison Keogh, client managing partner, will lead the account from Australia, overseeing teams across the seven markets.
