Baseline Ventures has entered into a partnership with talent management firm SeventyTwo Sports Group to manage 16-year-old tennis player, Maaya Rajeshwaran Revathi.

Revathi's performance at the recent WTA (Women's Tennis Association) 125 event in Mumbai not only gained national attention but also gained her global recognition as she became the youngest ever Indian player to earn a WTA ranking.

She is now scheduled to play at the prestigious Wimbledon Juniors, starting tomorrow, 2 July.

Galo Blanco, director, SeventyTwo Sports Group, said, “We are incredibly excited to work with Baseline Ventures in guiding and managing Maaya as she embarks on her journey to be one of the best tennis players in the world. We feel she is one of the most exciting & promising talents in international tennis, whilst being a smart and articulate young woman who can become a role model for so many. To have the Rafa Nadal Academy, Baseline Ventures and ourselves all behind Maaya at such a young age is the perfect launch platform for Maaya and one we believe she will utilise to the fullest.”

Tuhin Mishra, managing director and co-founder, Baseline Ventures, added, "We are thrilled to have Maaya join our team. Supporting young talents, especially women athletes, early on in their careers has always been our vision, and Maaya’s exceptional talent & potential align perfectly with our values. We are equally excited to partner with SeventyTwo Sports Group, who bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise in working with international athletes across sports. We’re eager to collaborate to help her find her true potential.”
