JioStar has acquired the linear and digital broadcast rights for the men’s and women’s competitions of The Hundred 2026 in India from official rights holder Sony Pictures Networks India.
All 68 matches across both competitions will be available live in India on JioHotstar and Star Sports Network.
The sixth edition of The Hundred begins on 21 July with a double-header at The Oval. The women’s fixture between MI London and SunRisers Leeds starts at 7:15 pm IST, followed by the men’s encounter between the same franchises at 11 pm IST. The tournament concludes with the finals at Lord’s on 16 August.
The Hundred was launched by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and is played in a 100-ball format. The competition comprises eight city-based franchises across London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Nottingham, Southampton, Cardiff and Bristol.
An ownership restructuring has resulted in several franchises being renamed from this season. Oval Invincibles has become MI London, Northern Superchargers has been renamed SunRisers Leeds, while Manchester Originals will compete as Manchester Super Giants.
The men’s competition will feature international cricketers including Jos Buttler, Jofra Archer, Rashid Khan, Heinrich Klaasen, Phil Salt, Tim David, David Miller and Harry Brook. MI London enters the tournament as the three-time defending men’s champion.
The women’s competition will feature eight Indian cricketers across the franchises. Smriti Mandhana and Richa Ghosh will represent Manchester Super Giants, while Deepti Sharma will play for SunRisers Leeds and Jemimah Rodrigues for Southern Brave.
Kiran Navgire will represent London Spirit, Shweta Sehrawat will play for MI London, Asha Sobhana will turn out for Trent Rockets, and Nandani Sharma will represent Welsh Fire.
The acquisition adds The Hundred to JioStar’s cricket broadcast portfolio in India, with coverage spanning its television and streaming platforms.
