PadelPark has made an equity investment in Hexagon Cup Holdings, the company that owns and operates the Hexagon Cup.
The investment comes ahead of the tournament being rebranded as the Hexagon World Series. The next tournament will be held in Madrid between 28 January and 1 February, with three more being scheduled for the year.
The investment was part of an international financing round held by Hexagon Cup Holdings.
With this, PadelPark India aims to shift from being a domestic ecosystem builder to becoming an active participant in the global competitive architecture of padel.
Nikhil Sachdev, co-founder, PadelPark India, said, “For us, this is a strategic commitment to the future of padel. Being involved at the holding-company level allows us to contribute meaningfully as the sport evolves globally. The Hexagon World Series represents a new chapter for professional padel, and we see this as an important step in connecting India’s rapidly growing padel ecosystem with the global competitive pyramid.”
