Netflix India's 'Chill Like A Champion' campaign.

Netflix India has rolled out a campaign, ‘Chill Like A Champion’, featuring Mumbai Indians players Jasprit Bumrah, Deepak Chahar and Naman Dhir alongside actor Sunil Grover to promote the OTT platform’s latest series, Glory.

Netflix India is the official entertainment partner for the Mumbai Indians this Indian Premier League (IPL) season.

The campaign consists of an ad film.

In the film, Bumrah, along with Chahar and Dhir, is seen gearing up for the game when they’re interrupted by Sunil Grover, their new ‘chill coach’. Turning on Netflix to pitch its latest series, Glory, Grover flips the script on the team’s intense pre-match energy, encouraging them to channel their 'passion, action, glory' in a very different way. With his punchline, “Chill karoge tabhi toh kill karoge,” Grover turns the players’ prep session into an impromptu binge break.

What we think about it: Smartly blends IPL fandom with streaming culture, using Sunil Grover’s humour and the Mumbai Indians’ camaraderie to make Netflix’s integration feel organic rather than forced. By positioning downtime as part of a champion’s mindset, the campaign extends Netflix’s Mumbai Indians partnership beyond sponsorship into culturally relevant entertainment storytelling.

The campaign was released on Instagram on 7 May.
