Ogilvy's Mumbai office bagged the 'Agency of the Year' at the APAC Effie Awards which were held in Singapore on 19 September.
The agency won three Gold, three Silver and three Bronze Effies. Two of the Gold wins were for St. Jude Childcare Centres 'The Impossible Choice', while the third was for Mondelēz India Foods' 'Scripting Valentine's Magic with Disney'.
St. Jude Childcare Centres was the 'Brand of the Year' and 'Marketer of the Year'.
Leo's Mumbai office was second on the 'Agency of the Year' list. It bagged three Gold and five Bronze. Its entry titled 'Getting Indians To Pay For Music' for Spotify won two Gold and the third was for 'Using data to make Indians Play' for PepsiCo.
The Womb won the 'Independent Agency of the Year' title and ended third on the 'Agency of the Year' tally. The agency won three Silver and five Bronze. This was the second year in a row the agency won the 'Independent Agency of the Year' title.
India topped the rankings with 33 awards, followed by Australia (13).
Ogilvy won the 'Agency Network of the Year' title. Its work across six territories secured them 24 Effies – seven Golds, five Silvers, and 12 Bronzes.
