The organisers of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity have announced shortlists across 12 categories in which India got a total of nine shortlists.
India's shortlist tally at this year's festival currently stands at 17, with Ogilvy and VML leading the way with three shortlists each.
Design
22feet and VML got a shortlist each for Godawan's 'The Art of Survival' and KitKat's 'The Slooowest Vending Machine'.
Direct
Grey 82.5 got a shortlist for Blinkstop, and VML got a shortlist for Kalapuri's 'The Kolhapuri'.
Film Craft
Ducktape Studios, Hungry Films and ZigZag Films each received a shortlist in this category for Steadfast's 'Fake Money Detector', St. Jude India Childcare Centre's 'Renu vs the City', and Rimzim Jeera's 'Jeere Mein Heera', respectively.
Media
Mindshare and Ogilvy got a shortlist each in this category. Mindshare's shortlist was for Vim Bar's 'Vim Ka Mahakadhai Record'. Ogilvy's shortlist in this category was for Amazon's 'Box to Beds'.
There were no Indian shortlists in the following categories:
Digital Craft, Entertainment, Entertainment Lions For Gaming, Entertainment Lions For Music, Entertainment Lions For Sport, Industry Craft, PR and Social & Creator Lions.
