Cheil India has appointed Geetika Chadha as associate vice president – social and influencer marketing for its Samsung business.
Chadha moves from Reckitt, where she was content strategist. She was leading digital creative transformation for the health portfolio.
Kumar Awanish, group COO, Cheil SWA, said, "Geetika joins us at a time when creator-first storytelling is moving the needle for brand trust and engagement. The marketing landscape has shifted; brands need to stop interrupting and start entertaining through authentic influence to capture effective audiences. Geetika has the perfect blend of creative acumen and business strategy to elevate our social capabilities. Her leadership marks a major step forward as we continue to innovate as a truly integrated, full-funnel marketing powerhouse."
Chadha said, ‘Influencer marketing has evolved from an awareness-led channel to a strategic business driver, with brands increasingly expecting measurable outcomes across the consumer journey. As the creator economy earns a more defined place within marketing investments, there is a significant opportunity to build integrated creator-led solutions that connect culture, commerce and business impact. I am excited to join Cheil India at this inflection point and leverage my experience across integrated marketing, content-to-commerce and influencer strategy to help our clients unlock meaningful growth while strengthening the agency’s creator marketing capabilities."
She has also worked with Mindshare, Havas, Iris and Bates.
