Zurich Kotak General Insurance Company (India) has announced the appointment of Birendra Mohanty as its chief business officer. 

In his new role, Mohanty will oversee Bancassurance (including Banca Digital), Financial Institutions Group (FIG), SME, institutional and government business.  

He moves from ICICI Lombard after a 23-year stint, having most recently served as business head.

Mohanty will play a crucial role in improving the sales and distribution framework at Zurich Kotak General Insurance as the company aims to scale new heights and deliver best-in-class insurance solutions to customers across India.
