Tourism New Zealand has announced the appointment of Tishtar Parakh as country manager - India. 

Based in Mumbai, she will lead Tourism New Zealand’s efforts to grow visitor demand and further strengthen and grow trade and industry partnerships in the Indian market. 

Parakh will work closely with travel trade partners, airlines and industry stakeholders to inspire more Indian travellers to explore  New Zealand. 

She moves from VisitBritain, where she was travel trade lead.

In a career spanning over 17 years, she has also worked with Cox & Kings and JLL, among others.
