Meta’s vice president - India, Sandhya Devanathan has been entrusted with a broader mandate. She will now oversee the tech company’s business across India and Southeast Asia. 

Devanathan shared the news via a post on LinkedIn.

The development comes on the back of Meta’s appointment of Benjamin Joe as its new regional vice president for Asia Pacific, effective July 2025.  He succeeds Dan Neary, who previously held the role of vice president for Southeast Asia and emerging markets for 12 years, officially stepping down from the position in March 2025.

Previously, Devanathan led Meta’s gaming business - one of the company’s top five verticals – in her role as vice president, Asia-Pacific, gaming, for nearly three years, before being elevated to the position of vice president, India.
