Prime Video has introduced NBA League Pass in India as an add-on subscription, giving basketball fans access to live and on-demand games from the 2025–26 NBA season.
This marks the first time the NBA’s official streaming service is available as an add-on through Prime Video in the country.
Prime members in India will also be able to stream select marquee NBA games as part of their existing Prime Membership, including Opening Week matchups, the Black Friday Doubleheader, NBA Berlin and London Games, and the 2026 SoFi NBA Play-In Tournament.
The NBA action on Prime Video kicks off on 25 October, with an Opening Week doubleheader featuring the New York Knicks vs Boston Celtics at 5 am IST and the Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Los Angeles Lakers at 730am IST.
Prime Video Sports also unveiled its new NBA on Prime Studio at Amazon MGM Studios in Culver City, featuring basketball players such as Blake Griffin, Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Dwyane Wade, and Candace Parker, alongside host Taylor Rooks and announcer Ian Eagle.
