Weber Shandwick has elevated Shashikanth Someshwar as chief executive officer, effective 1 October.

He was previously managing director, Current Global, an independent agency of The Weber Shandwick Collective under the Interpublic Group. 

Someshwar’s promotion reinforces the firm’s commitment to building and expanding its leadership presence in India.
