Robert Godinho has joined Spectacom Global as co-founder. Godinho's last full-time role was with Monks India, where he was managing director. Monks India (part of S4Capital) had acquired Godinho's WhiteBalance in 2019.

Godinho partners 'Devils Circuit' and 'The Yoddha Race' founders Adnan Adeeb and Zeba Zaidi to scale Spectacom Global. Spectacom Global is based on the belief that India is showing up for fitness. Over the past 14 years it has four race properties and two software products.

Godinho said, “There is nothing more exhilarating than seeing ordinary people achieving extraordinary feats. When you open up the question from ‘are you good enough to compete?’ to ‘would you like to participate?’, your addressable audience changes multifold and so does a brand's communication strategy. While participative sport may be appointment-led, the community itself is always on. This is no longer a date in the calendar but the maturing of an ecosystem. What drew me to Spectacom is that they are the GOATs in this space. With over 14 years of experience and more than 5,00,000 participants, they have built a depth of understanding and credibility that is incredibly hard to replicate.”

Adeeb said, "Making a real impact isn't about chasing big wins, it's about building a healthier community that shows up for each other again and again. Our objective is to facilitate this journey to being your best self. Robert gets that in his bones. He's a builder who cares as much about the craft and the culture as the outcome. Bringing an ex-founder in as a co-founder is us doubling down on the ambition to make participative sport a way of life in India."

Zaidi added, "Everything we make is built around one question: ‘How do you make the experience extra special and difficult to recreate'. We give people a year of reasons to show up, moments to remember, people to meet, goals to chase and stories to tell, all culminating in one unforgettable day when they get to celebrate how far they’ve come. Robert brings the systems and storytelling muscle to enhance the story telling narrative and amplify those moments to millions more, without ever losing what makes them personal as we intend to scale globally."

Spectacom's flagship Devils Circuit, a 5km course with 15 military-style obstacles, has completed over 82 editions since 2012 and has welcomed athletes from more than 50 countries. In 2024, the company launched The Yoddha Race, a hybrid fitness championship combining distance running with functional strength stations.
