CDSL IPF's campaign.

The CDSL Investor Protection Fund (CDSL IPF) has partnered with Red FM and RJ Malishka to launch a campaign, 'Slam The Scam' – under SEBI’s #SEBIvsSCAM initiative, driving investor awareness and protection.

The campaign consists of a rap anthem featuring Malishka.

Through Malishka, the high-energy track mixes beats with hard-hitting lyrics that urge investors to verify before investing, watch out for scams, and stay informed. The film reinforces CDSL IPF’s mission to build financially aware and confident investors by moving beyond seminars into creative, culturally relevant formats.

What we think about it: The rap film stands out for blending sharp lyrics with RJ Malishka’s infectious energy, making investor awareness both engaging and memorable. However, the heavy focus on entertainment slightly overshadows the practical takeaways.

Sudhish Pillai, head, CDSL IPF, secretariat, said, “At CDSL, we are committed to raising awareness about financial frauds and scams to protect investors through education and financial literacy. RJ Malishka is a widely recognised radio personality who has consistently championed important social causes. Her ability to connect with diverse audiences makes her a natural fit for this campaign. Through this collaboration, we aim to make investor awareness more relatable and impactful, while contributing to CDSL IPF’s larger mission of building Atmanirbhar Investors."
