Zyro's 'Nothing Unnecessary' campaign

Karan Aujla, an Indian singer and rapper, has announced the launch of his brand Zyro, a zero-sugar, zero-calorie beverage brand.

As a part of the launch, the brand has rolled out a campaign, ‘Nothing Unnecessary’, featuring the singer. The ad opens with Karan Aujla reflecting on his personal journey and the philosophy that guides his life. He then introduces Zyro - a drink that mirrors his life’s motto, which has nothing unnecessary.

What we think about it: Opening on an introspective note, the film creates an emotional foundation that feels genuine rather than manufactured. The brand emerges naturally from his narrative, positioned as an extension of his mindset and values. This integration enhances credibility and mitigates the disconnect often associated with celebrity-led endorsements.

Karan Aujla, co-founder, Zyro India, said, “Zyro is a reflection of how I see life. Keep it real. Keep it simple. No sugar, no calories, nothing unnecessary. That is not just a tagline, it is a mindset. Zyro stands for making conscious choices without compromising on taste or identity, and that is something I genuinely believe in.”

Viraj Bahl, founder and managing director, VRB Consumer Products, added, “With Zyro, we are entering the beverage category with a clear point of view. Today’s consumers are actively choosing zero sugar options and cleaner labels as part of a more mindful lifestyle. We are delivering clean, zero sugar, zero calorie hydration for a generation that demands authenticity and better choices. Zyro is designed to deliver flavour and functionality without excess, and ‘Nothing Unnecessary’ defines that philosophy from day one.”

The film released on 28 February.
