Manyavar Mohey has rolled out a campaign, 'Made for Each Other' featuring actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda.
Conceptualised by Shreyansh Innovations, the campaign consists of an ad film.
The film unfolds as a musical-style exchange between Mandanna and Deverakonda, set at their wedding. What begins as a plan to twin in matching outfits turns into a playful lyrical face-off when they arrive dressed differently. Their banter builds to a dramatic punchline: “Let’s cancel! Hum hain NOT Made for Each Other.” Just as the rom-com tension peaks, the tone softens and the story turns tender. Moving from playful sparring to heartfelt confessions, the duo acknowledges their differences and reveals how those very contrasts strengthen their bond, underscoring that true connection often thrives because of differences, not despite them. The film culminates in a striking visual featuring a signature hook step, with Deverakonda in a Manyavar Indo-western ensemble and Mandanna in a Mohey lehenga, bringing alive the campaign’s core message: 'Manyavar Mohey, made for each other'.
The music for the campaign has been composed by Amit Trivedi.
What we think about it: Smartly leans into Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s crackling chemistry, turning playful wedding banter into an entertaining musical that feels fresh and fan-aware while keeping the fashion front and centre. However, the star power and rom-com storytelling occasionally overshadow the brand itself, making the message memorable more for the duo’s dynamic than for Manyavar Mohey’s distinct identity.
