Canva's 'Jaadu Daadu' film

Canva has rolled out a film, 'Jaadu Dadu', as a part of their 'Dil se Design Tak' campaign.

Conceptualised by MO, the film features actor Dalip Tahil. The film follows Jaadu Dadu, a magician whose enchanting tricks light up every room. His lively granddaughter Drishti and her mischievous dog Chico are captivated by his magic, but his daughter Aaliya yearns for a real connection over spectacle. In that moment, Aaliya is forced to confront the emotional distance between her and her father. In a heartfelt effort to bridge the gap, Drishti turns to Canva - not just as a tool to create, but to reconnect. She designs a heartwarming poster that becomes a turning point, drawing the family closer through the power of meaningful design.

What we think about it: A heartfelt exploration of family and emotional distance, the film blends charm, relatability, and emotional resonance. The ad underscores the platform's accessibility, all without feeling like a hard sell.

The film released on 1 August.
