Adani Group's 'Story of Suraj' film

Adani Group has rolled out the third film, 'Story of Suraj', in its '#HumKarkeDikhateHain' campaign series.

Conceptualised by Ogilvy, the film illustrates how solar power, delivered by Adani Group, becomes a catalyst for opportunity, resilience, and progress. The film follows Rakesh, who returns to his hometown after years and witnesses the profound changes solar energy has enabled—from thriving crops and connected classrooms to empowered hospitals and revitalised livelihoods. Everyone seems to be talking about Suraj Bhaiya with admiration, crediting him for the positive changes in the village. Curious, Rakesh begins to wonder who this new, influential figure is - someone he’s never heard of before. But soon, he learns that Suraj Bhaiya isn’t a person at all. It’s what the villagers lovingly call solar energy - the silent force behind their renewed lives, enabled by the Adani Group's clean energy solutions.

What we think about it: Rooted in human experience and regional transformation, the film transcends being a mere brand message. The metaphor of Suraj Bhaiya works beautifully because it roots a modern energy solution in cultural familiarity and emotional resonance.

Ajay Kakar, head – corporate branding, Adani Group, said, "At Adani, we are not just generating electricity—we are creating pathways for progress. This film reflects the real impact of solar energy on everyday life. The transformation of one town is emblematic of the change we are enabling across India."

Piyush Pandey, chief advisor, Ogilvy India, said, "Adani adds one more human touch to technology with its new Solar energy film. 'Story of Suraj' shines by showing how solar energy brings life-changing opportunities to communities, helping them build a brighter future."
