Berger Paints India has rolled out a campaign for its premium offering, Berger Silk, featuring Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan. 

With a tagline ‘Nothing Shines Like Silk,’ the campaign film puts a cheeky spin on just how dazzling a wall’s sheen can really be.

In the film, Kapoor is shown strutting through her elegantly designed home, donning sunglasses indoors right from the moment she wakes up - not for the sun, but to shield her eyes from the unmissable gloss of her freshly painted walls. Set to the peppy beats of the popular Bollywood track ‘Kala Chashma', the film blends sass and glamour with a cheeky wink, positioning shiny walls as the new markers of sophistication.

What we think about it:
Kapoor’s effortless charm and swagger do much of the heavy lifting, injecting tongue-in-cheek humour and star power into the campaign. The use of sunglasses indoors, while clearly over-the-top and exaggerated, cleverly visualises the product promise.
