Selected has rolled out a campaign, 'The Art of Choosing Well', featuring actor Arjun Rampal, who is the face of its spring-summer 2026 collection.
Conceptualised by Cream Studio, the campaign comprises an ad film.
The film presents Rampal through quiet, intimate moments inside a beach house, having coffee, eating and sorting through books, accompanied by a reflective voiceover. As the visuals unfold, Rampal is seen wearing pieces from the SS’2026 collection, inspired by Scandinavian design and centred on purposeful construction and visual clarity. In the voiceover, Rampal reflects on being intentional with where his attention goes and who it belongs to, noting that not every moment needs to be filled and not every choice requires explanation. The film closes with the thought that when you choose how to live, you know what to keep, and that is what makes him feel selected. Rampal’s quiet confidence and effortless sense of intention mirror the brand’s belief that real style is built on timeless pieces, with the film treating every detail and garment with the same considered approach.
What we think about it: While the film is a visual treat and aligns with its Scandinavian minimalism philosophy, the narrative feels fairly understated to the point where the collection itself risks fading into the background.
Sumit Dhingra, CEO, Bestseller India, said, “At Selected, we believe true style is instinctive and timeless. We focus on contemporary design and thoughtful craftsmanship, and Arjun Rampal reflects this philosophy authentically. His presence strengthens our commitment to creating clothing that feels relevant today and remains essential tomorrow. This collaboration reinforces Selected’s connection with consumers who are increasingly choosing depth over trends as they build their wardrobe.”
