Nua's campaign

Nua has rolled out a campaign, introducing Nua’s Zero Irritation Pads.

Conceptualised by Enormous, the campaign comprises a series of three films. Each film centres around a familiar annoyance, such as loud chewing, incessant foot tapping, or disruptive snoring, that gradually builds tension within the environment. As the situation escalates humorously, the films reveal that the heightened frustration may not be caused solely by the external disturbance, but by an underlying physical discomfort.

Using humour and hyperbole, the campaign draws a parallel between these everyday irritants and the often-overlooked discomfort caused by sanitary pads during menstruation. The films collectively reinforce the message that irritating experiences, whether external disturbances or physical discomfort from period products, should not be accepted as normal or unavoidable.

What we think about it: The campaign takes a refreshingly unconventional approach to period care communication. By transforming ordinary annoyances into a metaphor for menstrual discomfort, the films deliver a memorable and thought-provoking narrative. The insight is sharp and introduces a nuanced perspective on menstrual discomfort, one that is rarely explored in mainstream advertising.
