India will be led by Shubman Gill, the new captain of the men's cricket team

After securing the digital streaming rights of the upcoming England-India Test series, JioHotstar has rolled out a promo to build hype around the same.

While Sony Sports Network bagged the broadcast rights for all England home matches through a deal with the ECB (England Cricket Board), in May, JioHotstar announced a deal with Sony Sports Network to bag the streaming rights of the series.

Through the film, it shows the 'young team India' post the retirements of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, and states how these players are not there as mere spectators, but are out to prove a point and prove themselves.

What we think about it: Sony Sports Network's film for the series did a bit more than this film to build excitement and anticipation for the series. However, that film featured more of the stars from years gone by, while this is about what could well be the future of Indian Test cricket.

The film released on 11 June across social media.
