Casio has rolled out a campaign, marking the anniversary of the movie 'Back to the Future' to commemorate its 40th anniversary and spotlight its limited edition Great Scott watch.

The campaign consists of an ad film and showcases Caiso's classic calculator watch that the fictional character Marty McFly wears throughout the movie.

The film takes a playful spin on the Back to the Future universe. It opens with McFly jamming on his guitar in his garage when the Great Scott watch suddenly starts pinging. Curious, he digs through a box of gadgets, trying to trace the sound. When he finally finds the watch and clicks its dial, a car materialises, followed by the big reveal: the launch of the limited-edition model.

What we think about it: The film cleverly taps into nostalgia, blending Back to the Future’s iconic energy with Casio’s retro appeal. While the concept feels familiar, the execution is sleek and fan-focused, turning a simple anniversary campaign into a satisfying nod to pop-culture history.
