Google has rolled out an ad film to show why 'soccer' (football) is the most searched sport globally. The film has been released after Google partnered with the US Soccer Federation in May.
The film's voiceover is provided by former Swedish footballer Zlatan Ibrahimović. He reveals reasons for which football is the most searched sport globally while showcasing how users can use Google's AI to follow and learn the sport. The film was conceptualised by Google Brand Studio.
What we think about it: While the film is intended for the US market, hearing Ibrahimović refer to football as soccer was a tad surprising. Other than that, the film does its job of revealing Google's AI features.i
The campaign went on-air on social media and the United States on 13 June.
