Jindal Stainless' ‘More Than Just Change' campaign

Jindal Stainless has rolled out a campaign ‘More Than Just Change’ that showcases the many sides of coins beyond currency, and the brand's role in manufacturing coins for the world.

At the heart of the narrative lies one of the brand’s core products: coin blanks. The film follows the journey of a simple coin through moments that shape connections across generations, gestures of faith, care, and togetherness. The ad film traces how a simple transaction evolves into a symbol of luck, prosperity, and blessings. Through this film, the brand aims to humanise stainless steel, portraying it as a symbol of continuity, trust, and legacy that endures across time.

What we think about it: The campaign is a well-crafted reminder that even in an era of digital payments, some forms of ‘change’ still hold timeless meaning. By blending human stories with its product, the brand underscores how its products are designed to last across generations.

Sonal Singh, head – corporate communications, Jindal Stainless, said, “For us, the focus was to take the conversation beyond the product and talk about purpose. Coins have always held deep emotional value in India, anchoring both everyday moments and special occasions. We wanted to celebrate stainless steel as a material that, like these coins, symbolises trust, longevity, and shared legacy.”

Gaurav Arora, co-founder, Social Panga, said, “Extending our long-standing relationship with Jindal Stainless, we wanted to continue moving away from functional communication on the year’s largest festival. And hence the idea of showcasing ‘value that endures’ took shape of the story that puts coins at the centre of everything Diwali. It bridges everyday traditions with the timelessness of stainless steel.”

One of the leading producers of coin blanks globally, Jindal Stainless manufactures around 10,000 tonnes of stainless-steel coin blanks each year to supply to mints worldwide, according to the brand.
