Astronomer hires Gwyneth Paltrow as 'temporary spokesperson' after CEO-HR head fiasco

In a humorous PR push, Paltrow, ex-wife of Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, redirects attention to Astronomer's tech.

Astronomer, the data-analytics AI company, which has been in the news recently due to its CEO (Andy Byron) and HR head's (Kristin Cabot) affair being exposed during a Coldplay concert in Boston, has released a video featuring Gwyneth Paltrow.

The actor, who was married to Coldplay's lead singer, Chris Martin till 2015, answers questions about Astronomer, the company. 

In the video, she states that she has been hired on a very temporary basis to speak on behalf of the 300-plus employees. She goes on to state what Astronomer does, and also reveals that the company is 'thrilled to know so many people have a newfound interest in data workflow automation'. She also plugs in the company's 'Beyond Analytics' event, being held virtually. 

The film was released on 26 July across social media.
