Fevicol has rolled out a film 'Kursi Pe Nazar' (eyes on a chair) that has been conceptualised by Ogilvy.
According to a note by Harshad Rajadhyaksha, chief creative officer, Ogilvy India, this was the last Fevicol script penned by the late Piyush Pandey, who passed away in October last year. The film opens with a carpenter stating how everyone has an 'inner carpenter' in them, as they are always eyeing someone's chair. Through a jingle, he goes on to show how workers eye the chair of a manager, while the latter eyes the chair of a shop owner. The film shows more similar instances, including one of a lover eyeing the groom's chair.
What we think about it: We saw the film and thought Piyush would be proud of the storytelling because of the typical slice-of-life situations depicted, only to see Rajadhyaksha's post about the script being penned by Pandey. The jingle sticks, and so does the film.
