Prime Video has rolled out a film announcing the new season of the series The Family Man. Coming back with a third season, the film features actors Manoj Bajpayee, Sharib Hashmi, and Priyamani, who play the roles of main characters in the OTT series.
The teaser opens with Priyamani (who plays the role of Suchitra Tiwari) speaking directly to the camera, explaining that over the last four years, a lot has changed — indicating that the show is taking a four-year leap. Dhriti is now in college, and Atharv has started learning ballet. However, one thing hasn’t changed: Manoj Bajpayee’s (who plays the role of Srikant Tiwari) trademark “Aaaaaaa” sound. Whether he’s chopping onions, sitting in a dentist’s chair, or on a mission, he never stops making it. In the end, when Sharib Hashmi (who plays the role of JK Talpade) confronts him about it, Bajpayee replies, “Aa raha hoon na main…” - signaling that Srikant Tiwari is back and a new season is on the way.
What we think about it: The teaser smartly leverages nostalgia, character continuity, and humor to create anticipation. It reinforces The Family Man’s brand persona of relatability, self-aware, and distinctly Indian — while effectively setting up the communication theme for its Season 3 campaign.
The teaser released on 28 October.
