Mercedes-Benz has announced personnel changes in its sales and marketing function.
Nandita Godbole has been elevated as head - marketing. She was previously general manager, data, analytics and systems and joined the auto company in 2021 as DMP and media planning.
Godbole will be responsible for the company's real-time data and predictive insights, anticipating customer needs, delivering highly personalised interactions and fostering meaningful engagement across every stage.
Godbole takes over Amrit Baid's role and gets a new role as general manager, retail finance and pre-owned cars business. Whereas, Jamsheed Bhadha, general manager, product planning and sales planning, will move to a new role within Mercedes-Benz, Dubai
The organisational changes underline Mercedes-Benz’s growing focus on enhancing customer experience using real-time data, deploying AI solutions and integrating retail finance into the customer journey.
The appointments also signify Mercedes-Benz’s global culture of promoting internal talents while fostering cross-functional leadership, pursuing excellence and developing people for future leadership roles.
The new organisational changes will be effective from 1 September 2026.
