Lululemon today announced its foray into the Indian market through a franchise partnership with Tata CLiQ.
As part of the collaboration, lululemon will open its first physical store in India, along with launching local e-commerce stores on Tata CLiQ Luxury and Tata CLiQ Fashion in the second half of 2026.
The move will bring lululemon’s acclaimed athletic and lifestyle offerings—including apparel, footwear, and accessories—to Indian consumers. The brand caters to a range of activities such as yoga, running, training, tennis, and golf, and is known for its high-performance product innovations.
In addition to its retail presence, lululemon plans to introduce immersive activations and community experiences that aim to foster connection and movement across the Indian market.
This India entry aligns with lululemon’s 'Power of Three ×2' strategy, which includes global expansion as a core pillar.
Currently present in over 30 markets, lululemon continues to deepen its presence across North America, EMEA, Asia Pacific, and China Mainland.
