Marriott Bonvoy and the International Cricket Council (ICC) have entered into a multi-year strategic partnership, with Marriott International’s travel platform appointed as the official accommodation partner for ICC events through 2029.
The partnership brings together one of the world’s most-watched sports with Marriott Bonvoy’s global network of hotels, stays and experiences, giving its members access to major cricket events across continents, while extending Marriott’s reach into cricket’s highly engaged global fan base.
The agreement covers all ICC Men’s events over the next four years, including the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka, the ICC World Test Championship Final 2027 in the United Kingdom, the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027 in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia, the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2028 in Australia and New Zealand, the ICC World Test Championship Final 2029 in the United Kingdom and the ICC Champions Trophy 2029 in India.
With a footprint of more than 450 properties across host markets, Marriott is positioned to accommodate teams, fans and members travelling domestically and internationally for ICC events. Fans attending matches will be able to stay across Marriott Bonvoy’s global portfolio and access official travel packages through ICC Travel and Tours.
As cricket continues to command one of the largest global audiences in sport, the partnership aligns with Marriott Bonvoy’s focus on connecting members with the passions and places they care about.
The two organisations will collaborate on designing and launching new hospitality concepts at select venues, aiming to deliver premium on-ground experiences for fans.
Beyond accommodation and travel, Marriott Bonvoy and the ICC will also work together on curated cricket-related content, local market activations and member engagement initiatives, extending the partnership into storytelling, experiences and community-led engagement around the game.
Rajeev Menon, president, Asia Pacific excluding China, Marriott International, said, “Cricket’s dominance as a sport has the power to unite the fans across different countries. We’re now bringing the power of Marriott Bonvoy to over two billion fans and delivering bespoke cricket experiences to our 260 million Marriott Bonvoy members. ICC events are hosted across the world, and fans cover thousands of miles to experience the allure of these cultural spectacles.
