Tata Capital, the financial services arm of the Tata Group, has launched its Raksha Bandhan campaign, #CountOnTheBond, celebrating the everyday gestures through which siblings support each other.
The campaign is built around the idea that sibling bonds are often expressed less through grand declarations and more through the little things, from helping with daily chores to quietly backing each other’s ambitions.
The film follows a young woman pursuing her passion for pottery while preparing her final assignment. As her brother struggles with his routine, she puts her own work aside to care for him, getting his medicines, managing his chores and being there for him through the day. When her own assignment begins to suffer, her brother returns the favour in his own way. He builds a machine to help her with her pottery project, allowing her to get closer to completing her submission. The gesture becomes a quiet reminder that support between siblings can often work both ways, even when it goes unspoken.
What we think about it: The film gets the sibling dynamic right by keeping the affection understated. There are no big emotional speeches; just two people quietly making life easier for each other. The idea - a simple, relatable take on what it means to have someone you can genuinely count on - feels like a natural fit with the brand. The role reversal also works, with the sister first putting her dream on hold and the brother later stepping in to help her pursue it.
Kaushik Chakraborty, head - marketing, Tata Capital, said, “Trust and support are at the heart of every meaningful relationship. The strongest bonds are often built through the small gestures – in ways we show up for each other. Through ‘CountOnTheBond’ campaign, we celebrate the people we can always count on, stand by our dreams and give us the confidence to move forward”.
